		<description>John, can you send me an email and discuss your cochlear implant in a bit more detail?  I am hard of hearing and have been since birth.  Deaf in one ear and about 50% deaf in the other.  I&#039;ve worn hearing aids (or rather, one aid and one microphone with a wire between the two going around the back of my head/neck) since I was 7.  When I was diagnosed, the cochlear implant was experimental and NOT on children.  Since then, well, I&#039;ve just learned to live with my limitations.
